- ASB: Assisted Spontaneous Breathing (assistierte Spontanatmung)
- BIPAP®: Biphasic Positive Airway Pressure (Form der CPAP Beatmung - eine kontrollierte Beatmung, welche Pat. mit einer schlechten Spontanatmung unterstützt)
- F: Atemfrequenz
- FiO2: raction of inspiratory Oxygen (inspiratorische Sauerstoffkonzentration)
- F sp: Spontanatemfrequenz
- Mandatory/mandatorisch: verpflichtend, erzwungen
- MV: Minutenvolumen
- MVe: exspiratorisches Gesamtminutenvolumen
